Debra Langford has been appointed by President Barack Obama to serve on the USO Board of Governors in 2011. She was the 2010 & 2011 Southern California Vice President of NAMIC Southern California, the 2009 & 2010 President of NAMIC So Cal, a member of the advisory boards for the American Black Film Festival (ABFF), the African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA), the USC Leventhal School of Accounting Summer Leadership Program (SLP) and the USC Black Business Students Association (BBSA).
